Vesti.la welcomes useful tips, place suggestions, corrections, story ideas, contributor pitches and supporting information that can help readers discover international food more confidently.
These guidelines explain what may be submitted, what standards apply and how Vesti.la may review, edit, decline, publish or remove community-provided material.
What you may submit
A restaurant, bakery, market, deli, café or food neighborhood suggestion.
A factual correction or update connected with an existing page.
A story idea, contributor pitch or subject-matter recommendation.
Original photographs or supporting information you are authorized to share.
A practical accessibility, technical or community-safety concern.
Submission does not promise coverage
Sending information to Vesti.la does not guarantee publication, a listing, a feature, a response, a particular placement or a favorable editorial conclusion.
Decisions may depend on relevance, originality, accuracy, available resources, editorial priorities, geographic coverage and the usefulness of the material to readers.
Editorial consideration
Free submissions and paid partnerships are different
A free place suggestion may be considered for independent editorial use without any promise of publication or timing.
A paid partnership, sponsored feature or advertising proposal follows a separate commercial process and must be disclosed when published.
Payment does not purchase a guaranteed positive review, false endorsement or fabricated first-hand experience.
Submit information that helps verify the business
The current business name and location.
The official website or another reliable public source.
The type of food, dishes or services offered.
Relevant pickup, delivery, reservation or market information.
Your relationship with the business, if one exists.
Provide context rather than promotional slogans
Useful tips explain why a place, dish, market or food tradition may be relevant to Vesti.la readers.
Describe the specific item, neighborhood or food format involved.
Separate personal opinion from verifiable facts.
Avoid unsupported claims such as “the best” or “the only authentic one.”
Mention regional or family variations where they matter.
Accuracy
Submit information you reasonably believe is true
Contributors and community members should not knowingly submit false, deceptive, outdated or materially incomplete information.
Prices, opening hours, menus, delivery areas, ingredients and business ownership may change. When possible, identify the source and approximate date of time-sensitive information.
Vesti.la may verify, revise or omit submitted details before publication.
Disclose your relationship with the subject
State if you own, manage, represent or work for the business.
Disclose if you were paid, gifted or otherwise compensated.
Identify an agency, public-relations or marketing relationship.
Do not present promotional copy as an independent reader recommendation.
Do not invent first-hand experience
A submission must not claim that someone visited a restaurant, tasted a dish, tested a product, interviewed a person or verified a service when that experience did not occur.
Business-supplied claims may be presented as supplied information rather than independent observation.
Cultural respect
Food traditions should not be reduced to stereotypes
International dishes often have regional, family, restaurant and diaspora variations. A submission should avoid presenting one version as universally correct when meaningful variations exist.
Content should not mock accents, nationalities, religions, ethnic groups, migration histories or traditional food practices.
Disagreement about origins, names or preparation methods should be expressed with context and evidence rather than hostility.
Submit material you have the right to provide
Do not copy another publication’s article or substantial text.
Do not submit photographs taken by someone else without permission.
Do not remove watermarks, credits or rights information.
Identify third-party material and any applicable license.
Do not submit confidential documents without proper authority.
Photographs must not create a false documentary record
Images should not falsely imply that a specific dish, restaurant, person or event was photographed when the visual actually represents something else.
Significant edits, composite images, generated visuals or illustrative material should not be presented as unaltered documentary photography.
Rights and permissions
Submission does not automatically transfer ownership
A person submitting original material may retain ownership unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
By submitting material for possible publication, you confirm that you have authority to provide it and may grant Vesti.la the permissions reasonably necessary to review, edit, publish, display, archive and promote the accepted material.
Specific contributor, licensing or commercial arrangements may include additional written terms.
Do not expose personal information unnecessarily
Do not publish private phone numbers, addresses or personal email accounts.
Do not submit passwords, financial data or identity documents.
Do not identify a private person in a sensitive context without a valid reason.
Remove unrelated personal details from screenshots and supporting files.
Use extra care with sensitive subjects
Submissions involving children, health circumstances, immigration status, financial hardship or another vulnerable situation should include only information necessary for a legitimate editorial purpose.
Vesti.la may remove identifying details or decline the submission when publication could create unnecessary harm.
Prohibited submissions
Material that may be rejected immediately
Vesti.la may reject, restrict or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, unsafe, irrelevant or inconsistent with the purpose of the website.
Threatening or discriminatory content
Threats, intimidation or encouragement of violence.
Hateful or dehumanizing material targeting protected groups.
Harassment, stalking or publication of private identifying information.
Attempts to organize abuse against a person or business.
False reviews, impersonation and coordinated promotion
Fabricated customer experiences or reviews.
Impersonation of another person, business or publication.
Coordinated submissions designed to manipulate coverage.
Hidden paid promotion presented as independent community feedback.
False ownership, award, certification or endorsement claims.
Malicious files and deceptive links
Malware, harmful code or deceptive download files.
Phishing links or pages intended to collect credentials.
Forced redirects or disguised destination URLs.
Attachments unrelated to the stated purpose of the submission.
Low-value promotional submissions
Mass-produced pitches unrelated to Vesti.la.
Repeated messages containing the same proposal.
Keyword-stuffed text written primarily to obtain a link.
Submissions with no meaningful information beyond a sales request.
Comments and discussion
Participate without attacking other people
Where comments or public discussion features are available, readers may disagree with an article, recommendation, business or one another.
Criticism should address the information, experience or argument rather than becoming harassment, threats, slurs or repeated personal attacks.
Vesti.la may moderate comments before or after publication and may close discussion on individual pages.
Explain the disagreement clearly
Identify the statement, recommendation or experience you dispute.
Provide relevant facts or context when available.
Separate criticism of a business from attacks on individuals.

What Vesti.la may do with a submission
Submitted material may be checked for relevance, clarity, originality, factual support, rights, conflicts of interest and consistency with the website’s editorial standards.
Vesti.la may contact the submitter for clarification, verify information independently or decide that no further review is necessary.
Accepted material may be revised
Headlines, summaries and structure may be changed.
Promotional or unsupported language may be removed.
Claims may be qualified or attributed to their source.
Duplicate or irrelevant material may be shortened.
Images may be cropped, resized, captioned or omitted.
Vesti.la may decline without detailed explanation
A submission may be declined because it is outside the site’s scope, duplicates existing coverage, lacks support, creates legal or ethical concerns or does not meet current editorial priorities.
Vesti.la is not required to enter prolonged correspondence about every rejected suggestion, pitch or promotional request.
Corrections after publication
Published submissions may be updated or removed
Accepted material may later be corrected, expanded, restricted or removed if new information appears, rights are disputed, the underlying business changes or the content no longer meets Vesti.la standards.
Publication does not create a permanent right to placement, wording, visibility, links, images or attribution format.
